Enlisted 17 Feb 1862 in to Co. C in Saratoga Springs, NY. Transfered to the 1st Independent New York Light Artillery on 15 April 1863. Died of disease in Washington DC 22 Feb 1865.

James H Carr

James was shot in the right calf May 10 1864 during Uptons charge in the battle of Spotilvania. He recovered from his injuries and was mustered out at the defenses of Washington DC in June of 1865. James lived briefly in Missouri then settled in Western Nebraska where he lived until his death in 1925.

William Sweet

William Sweet b. 1819 enlisted with his son, Milton at Fortsville on September 26, 1861 at Fortsville, village of Moreau. Following the Seven Days, William got sick, while stationed with his regiment on the Penninsula William died of dysentery at Mill Creek Hospital on September 1, 1862. He is bured at Hampton National Cemetary in Virginia
